About Us

The Society of Non-Theists is a group for discussion and networking by Purdue students who are Atheist, Agnostic, Ignostic, Objectivist, Pastafarian, Skeptic, Secular Humanist, or just otherwise not inclined to follow traditional deity-based religious beliefs. We use the term “non-theist” as an all encompassing term for these various lines of thinking.

  1. I am just curious as to how to go about joining this organization? I am a junior with a major in physics and minors in astronomy and mathematics. I like to think of myself as an activist for secular values, science, and reason. It took me awhile to find this group, and I would love to contribute.

    Boiler up!

    • Hi Geoff,
We’d love to have you! We’ll have a table at the BGR activities fair on August 16th if you want to stop by. You can also subscribe to our mailing list here. At some point we’ll be sending out information about our callout, which will probably happen sometime within the first few weeks of the fall semester. You can also like our page on Facebook, and join our Facebook group here.
      Thanks for your interest,
      Kacey
